St. Paul’s Child Care and Kidz Korner programs are looking for part-time employees to work with children (Child Care: 6 weeks to Pre-K, Kidz Korner: Grades K-5). Join a strong community dedicated to caring for the children and families we serve every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement programming that addresses the social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive needs of all children within the program.
- Establish effective communication with families, building trust and sharing experiences related to their children.
- Interact with children and encourage their involvement in activities and experiences.
- Provide a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where children feel secure and can learn; maintain a child-centered, inviting, positive, and professional classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues as part of St. Paul’s, contributing to and supporting team efforts.
- Respect diversity and foster an inclusive environment in the classroom and among teammates.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working with children in a child care program preferred
- Respectful, collaborative, and professional demeanor.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs
- CPR/Pediatric First Aid Certification
- Must also be able to obtain all four clearances required for working with children
- PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, National Sex Offender Registry Clearance, FBI Clearances, National Sex Offender Registry Clearance, and Current Health Assessment with TB test will need to be completed before hire if not already held (current within one year of hire).
- pass a physical and tb test required by the state.
- complete mandated reporter training.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
