Receptionist
Job Overview
The Receptionist welcomes people to St. Paul’s; answers phones and emails; assists with scheduling of events & volunteers; and provides administrative support for the congregation’s hospitality and care ministries.
Responsibilities
- Offer welcome to parishioners and guests during office hours (Tues-Thurs, 9am – 4pm).
- Answer phones, direct phone calls, and relay messages.
- Monitor doors, maintain visitor log, and provide oversight for entry to building.
- Receive and respond to church emails.
- Receive and record prayer requests and member needs, and share with staff and volunteers as appropriate.
- Prepare and print weekly letters, as well as other correspondence, certificates and documents as requested.
- Collect and distribute mail; receive and ship packages.
- Provide support for ministry programs, including gathering RSVPs, sending reminders, scheduling volunteers, copying and printing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills on phone, email and in person.
- Interpersonal skills and compassionate care for others.
- Proficiency with phone system, email and Microsoft applications.
- Thoroughness, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize needs in a constantly-changing environment.
- Ability to lift and carry packages, signage, and other materials when needed.
- Associate degree or equivalent proven experience in an office environment.
- PA Clearances required.
Term of Position
This is a part-time hourly position with a 16-20 hour work week (Tuesday – Thursday, 9am – 4pm). The pay range is $15-$17/hour.

Kitchen Staff Member
St. Paul’s Kidz Korner and Kidz Venture are a childcare and enrichment programs serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade. We provide a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive—and we believe that healthy, delicious food is a key part of that mission. Join our team and help make a difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals in large quantities for students and staff
- Support daily and special event meals (e.g., Thanksgiving, Graduation, Summer Camp)
- Follow and adjust menus based on needs and availability
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen (daily, weekly, monthly tasks)
- Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and assist with ordering supplies
- Set up and clean up for breakfast, lunch, and snack times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols (ServSafe preferred)
- Follow kitchen and workplace safety procedures, including emergency protocols
- Engage with students positively and promote healthy eating habits
- Attend team meetings and training sessions
- Collaborate with team members in a supportive, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Prior food service or institutional kitchen experience preferred
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Ability to follow policies, safety standards, and procedures
- Passion for creating healthy meals and serving children with care
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Morning and midday shift
- Additional hours during special events (as needed)
