Kidz Korner

Who We Are

Kidz Korner is a program that supports families by offering before and after care as well as Kindergarten Enrichment and summer camp programming to elementary school aged children.  Our school year program provides nutritious snacks and meals, quality supervision, supportive relationships and age appropriate activities to children during their time in our care.  Before and After School Care is open to children at Scott Primary, Wyland, Hosack or Peebles Elementary Schools.

Kindergarteners at Wyland, Peebles and Hosack Elementary Schools can participate in our Enrichment program which offers children additional time to practice and master those Kindergarten skills like sight word recognition, writing and early mathematics.  With the addition of a morning Enrichment class, we can accommodate children in either their school district’s morning or afternoon Kindergarten session.  Children in the enrichment program receive lunch and transportation to or from their school in addition to the education activities provided during class time. Before and After School as well as early dismissal/late start and in-service day care is included in tuition for Kindergarten students.

Each summer we offer an 9 week camp program to children with weekly themes that are relevant and exciting to children.  We also offer swimming and field trips to many exciting locations in the greater Pittsburgh area.  Families can chose flexible enrollment options that meet their needs.

Kidz Korner is a STAR 4 facility through the Keystone STARS program.
