St. Paul’s Kidz Venture is a summer day camp for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade, We are seeking Camp Counselors responsible for assisting children in daily activities, including crafts, games, and more. Counselors are also responsible for assigned groups of children during off-campus experiences which include field trips and swimming pool trips. 

Summer camp weekly stipend: $600.00 per week. (Camp Counselors will be provided a 1099 form for tax purposes.)

Camp hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Staff hours may vary between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM to allow for set-up/clean-up. 35-40 hour a week commitment.

Up to 6 week commitment working with children: June 24 through August 2

Counselors are also required to attend mandatory (paid) training. If you are unavailable to attend in-person, arrangements can be made with the director to complete training hours remotely. Training is tentatively scheduled for June 10-14. 

This is a great opportunity to obtain hands on experience working with school-aged children. Ideal opportunity for any High School Graduates looking to continue in child care/education employment, PA State requirements, including clearances and First Aid/CPR, are required prior to first day with children.

St. Paul's Kidz Korner is a school-age child care program that serves three local elementary schools with before and after school care, and ½ day Kindergarten Enrichment.

We are seeking a candidate to join our team for up to 30 hours/week supervising school-age children, Kindergarten through Grade 5. This is an ideal job for anyone seeking a flexible part-time schedule with evenings and weekends off! Or for college students interested in gaining valuable classroom experience with children. You will have a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Salary $14.00 - $16.00 per hour.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities:

• Follow daily classroom schedule and assist with lessons/activities pre-planned by the Teachers.
• Gather materials and lead children in completion of activities.
• Supervise children in classroom, gymnasium, cafeteria, and playground settings.
• Serve and/or clean up with snacks and meals.
• Assist with classroom tasks such as signing children in/out and classroom organization.
• Model appropriate conduct for children by demonstrating ethical behavior and professional conduct.
• Physical requirements may include being outdoors in a variety of weather, and fully maintaining sight and sound supervision of children.

Ideal candidates:

• One year of experience in a childcare, classroom, or education setting preferred.
• Enjoy working with kids.

St. Paul’s Child Care is looking for part time staff to work in the Allison Park. Responsibilities include interacting on a regular basis, with children between the ages of 6 weeks – 5 years, changing diapers, feeding lunches, activities, and much more!

Candidates:

• Must be able to reliably communte to Allison Park (15101)
• Must have previous experience working with children.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and taking initiative.
• able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Have a friendly and positive attitude.
• Must be capable of obtaining all clearances required by the State of PA.
• PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, National Sex Offender Registry Clearance, FBI Clearances, National Sex Offender Registry Clearance, and Current Health Assessment with TB test will need to be completed before hire if not already held (current within one year of hire).
• Pass a physical and tb test required by the state.
• Complete mandated reporter training.

Job Type: Part-time (no less than 24 per week)

Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
