Speaker Agreement For Virtual Event

Thank you for your availability to present at the STC Conference and Technical Communication Expo 2021. In 2021, the STC Summit will be presented as a virtual conference from June 5 to 9. We cannot serve participants and members without your expertise, experience and contributions. Thank you again for being part of this conference. While the preparation is a little different from speaking to a crowd in a physical meeting room, these steps are worth the time and energy to prepare speakers for virtual events. The majority of people agree, public speaking is an unpleasant situation, virtual events are no different from this aspect. Use all available tools to help virtual stakeholders be as confident and well trained as possible. I agree to immediately notify the Speaker Manager of the STC Conference Committee if an emergency prevents me from fulfilling my commitment as a session speaker. This ensures that they are prepared in advance on time. Schedule technical checks to make sure the speakers look and sound optimal. For some examples of what you should cover during the technical inspections, here you will find some elements that must be taken into account during a pre-event technical inspection: if you accept the terms of this manual, please sign the speaker agreement virtually before Friday, December 11, 2020.

At the time of registration, you must confirm acceptance of this agreement. I assure you and warrant that my submissions do not violate the property or personality rights of others (including all copyright, trademark and data protection rights) and do not contain anything defamatory or illegal. I have full authority to enter into this agreement and have obtained all necessary authorizations or licenses from persons or entities whose material is or is used in my presentation. This year, the summit calendar and speaker information will be published on the summit website and on the virtual conference platform. STC fills the site with your presentation information and creates an account for you on the virtual platform. As the summit approaches, you will receive instructions on how to log in to your account, reset the system password, and update your profile….
