Miss Becky began working in the childcare in November of 2022 as an Assistant group Supervisor. She is currently enrolled in classes at Allegheny County Community College. Miss Becky has 2 cats, Milo and Shyloh. Becky says the best part of working with the children is to listen to the jokes the kids tell; and the conversations she has with the kids makes her laugh so hard!

Miss Brooke is an Assistant Group Supervisor, she began working with the childcare in 2019, as a summer employee. Brooke is enrolled in college at LaRoche University. She lives with her brother Garrett. Brooke says the best part of working at childcare is that it is a great atmosphere she loves the children, and enjoys the close friendships with the workers.

Miss Dea is an Assistant Group Supervisor who has been working at Child Care since 2012. She grew up in the North Hills and possesses a high school diploma from Oakland Catholic High School. She is married to a wonderful man named Andrew with whom she has one son – Damon – who is 12 years old. She also has one cat named Jay. When asked what she loves about working at St. Paul’s Drop-In Child Care, Dea responded that she loves all of the kids with whom she interacts.

Miss Ece is a Group Supervisor and has been working at Child Care since 2015. She grew up in Izmir, Turkey and possesses a B.A. and M.A. in Art Education from Ohio State University. She is married to a wonderful man named Bedirhan and has two children: Atahan and Bilgehan. She currently has no pets. When asked what the best part of working at child care was, Ece responded that teaching is her passion, and she loves seeing the sparkles in the children’s eyes when they learn something new. While she’s with the kids, she can keep her inner child alive and happy.

Miss Janis has been a group supervisor at St. Paul’s since 2017. She is married to Arun Thomas and she have 4 children; Sarah, Samuel, David, and Isaiah. Miss Janis has her Master’s Degree from India in Mathematics! Janis’ family has a dog named Skylar. Miss Janis enjoys working with the children. She also enjoys the flexible schedule offered.

Miss Helen is a Floor Supervisor and has been working at the Child Care since November 2000. She grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is married to a wonderful man named Richard and has two children: Jess and her Husband Ryan, Jon and his Wife Hilma. When asked what the best part of working at child care was, Helen responded that it was getting to know all of the children and their families, she also enjoys having great workers/friends.

Miss Hema is an Assistant Group Supervisor and has been working at the Child Care since 2014. She is from India and has a B.S. in Accounting. She is married to a wonderful man named David Michael and has two children: Leroy Jason and Janita. She has no pets at this time. When asked what she likes best about working at child care, Hema responded that she loves being able to see joy on kids faces everyday. Watching them grow and learn. she loves being in such a positive and encouraging environment. She also enjoys being Creative and Imaginary with them! She really enjoys being a part of the wonderful team of co-workers at the Child Care.

Miss Kathy is a Group Supervisor/Floor Supervisor who has been working at the Child Care since October 1994. She grew up in Etna, Pennsylvania and has a B.A. in Social Sciences. She is married to a wonderful man named Ron and has two children: a daughter named Kristen, with her spouse and Jason, they have 2 children Logan and Teagan; she also has a named Jonathan and his new bride Kaylie. She has no pets. When asked what the best part about working at child care was, Kathy responded that she loves interacting with the children.

Miss Kayla B. is a Group Supervisor at the childcare, she started working at the center in September of 2015. she is married to William and they have 3 daughters, Mariaum, Zi’Onna and Sanaya. Miss Kayla is in college at Westmorland County Community College studying Early Childhood Education. Miss Kayla has a cat named Princess Henny! Kayla loves being able to play and laugh with the children while she watches the grow and learn!

Miss Kayla C. is an Assistant Group Supervisor who has been working at the Child Care since 2011, as of 2022 Miss Kayla is also a preschool teacher at St. Paul’s. She grew up in Shaler, Pennsylvania and has her Early Childhood Associates degree from Community College of Allegheny County North (Perry Highway). She is single and has once child and one on the way, and she has 1 dogs. When asked what she likes best about working at child care, Kayla responded that she loves working with the kids.

Miss Mary Lou is a Pre-K Assistant Group Supervisor who has been working at the Drop-In Child Care for a few years now. She grew up in St. Paul’s own backyard of Wexford, Pennsylvania, and does have a college degree. She is married to a wonderful man named Jeff and has three children: Jennifer, Elizabeth and Christopher. Mary Lou also has 2 dogs named Kobi and Koda and two cats named Dude and Ra. When asked what her favorite part of working at St. Paul’s is, Mary Lou responded that she loves interacting with the children and seeing them grow and change over the years.

Miss Pam is a Group Supervisor who has been employed by St. Paul’s for 7 years now. She worked for Kidz Korner in the 2016-17 school year before deciding to come downstairs to work with younger children in the fall of 2017. She grew up in Hampton, Pennsylvania (practically next door!) and went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (she is an amazing artist). She also attended the Institute of Children’s Literature in Connecticut and the Community College of Allegheny College. Pam is married to a wonderful man named Chuck. They have no children but do have one fur baby feline named Ollie. When asked what her favorite part of working at Child Care was, Pam responded that she loves witnessing the development of our children’s emotional, physical and social growth which expands daily. It is a privilege to be a part of their early childhood, by showing them love, respect and support in all activities, I have received so much more in return.

Miss Rachel is an aide who started working at St. Paul’s in September of 2022. Miss Rachel is an avid photographer she does beautiful work! Check her out at rachelliangphoto (mypixieset.com) Rachel Lives with her parents in Moon Township along with her cat Charming. When asking Miss Rachel what is the best part of working with the children, she said making the smile and laugh!
