Daily Schedule


Here at St. Paul’s Drop-In Day Care, there is a schedule that is followed everyday regarding those children enrolled.  The following is the schedule followed for the Day Care itself:

Child Care Schedule

8:00-9:00 AM – Arrival of first children (all children will wash hands when entering)

  • Block play, costumes, dolls, etc.

9:00 – Take Preschoolers to class

9:30-9:45 – Snack time

  • Wash hands singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

10:00-11:00 – Craft time for 4-year olds

10:00-10:30 – Diaper changing and potty time

  • Wash hands singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

10:30-11:00 – Free play for all not at crafts

11:15-11:30 – Clean-up and Circle Time, Story telling, arrival of children from AM Preschool

11:30-12:15 PM – Hand washing and lunchtime

  • Wash hands singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

12:15-1:00 – Large motor time in gym

12:15-1:00 – Diaper changing and potty time

  • Wash hands singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

12:30 – Children to PM Preschool

1:00-1:30 – Video for children who do not nap

1:00-2:30 – Nap time or quiet time

2:30-2:45 – Diapers and potty training

  • Wash hands singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

3:00- Arrival of PM Preschoolers

3:00-5:00 – Special late-day toys



If you would like your child to take a nap, please inform the staff.  Infants sleep on their own schedule, as infants “graduate” we will transition them to the 1:00 p.m. nap time. Unless we have written instruction by a physician all infants are  placed on their backs for sleeping .

 There is a separate room with cribs and cots, children are supervised during naptime by a staff members.

Older children may also nap or, if parents desire, they may rest.  We have cots for older children. Bedding is provided.

Naptime is 1:00 PM until the child wakes.
