Children’s Message

With the exception of when the sacrament of communion or baptism are presented, most Sundays there is a Children’s Message incorporated into the worship service.  Children are invited to sit on the steps at the altar rail and participate in a very short worship message designed just for them.  After the Children’s Message, children 4-years-old through second grade are invited to return to their families or dismissed to Children’s Church.  After dismissal children meet in the chapel have a time of prayer and then procede to the appropriate class.   When baptisms occur on Sunday Morning there is not a Children’s Message.  Children are merely  prompted to be dismissed to Children’s Church following the baptism.

The Children’s Message is either presented by Erin Soza, Director of Children’s Ministry, or other adults with a message to share.  If you wold like to present a Children’s Message please contact Erin Soza, esoza@stpaulsumc.com, for  detailed instructions and ideas.
