St.
Paul’s United Methodist Church
Volunteers in Mission (VIM)
The purpose of St. Paul's UMC
Volunteers In Mission is to provide an opportunity for adults to share their
God given gifts and skills to help people in need.
It is our vision to encourage individuals to participate in mission work,
either as part of a group or as individuals.
Our intent is to complete several local mission projects and one
national project each year. You
do not need previous mission experience or any particular skills; you only
need a desire to serve the Lord through your works.
In addition to working on several local projects in 2009, 15 members of our group spent a week in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, assisting the people of that area in recovering from the floods of 2008.
Our 2010 work camp will be at the Red Bird Mission in Kentucky, May 2 - 8. Read about Red Bird Mission and details of our work camp.
