Dr. Ronald R. Hoellein, Pastor:
Ron is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College,
BA in Psychology 1970; Garrett Theological Seminary, M.Div. 1973; and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary,
Doctor of Ministry. (Pastoral Care and Counseling)
1981. While in Seminary, Ron did Clinical Pastoral
training at Presbyterian St. Luke's, Illinois Masonic,
and Michael Reese Hospitals in Chicago. Ron is a Pittsburgh
native having served Point Marion-Gans United Methodist
Churches 1973-1981, Edinboro United Methodist Church
1981-1992, and appointed to St. Paul's in July, 1992.
Ron and Joyce were married in 1970. Joyce
is a New Jersey native and currently on the Education
Department faculty of Westminster College. Ron and
Joyce have four children; Andy married to Diedre,
Nathan married to Kelly, Tim and Elizabeth. They are
blessed with six grandchildren.

Bruce Gascoine, Pastor: Bruce is
a Pittsburgh native, growing up in Monroeville, PA. He
is a graduate of California University of PA with a BA
in Special Education and of Wesley Theological
Seminary in Washington D.C. with a Masters of
Divinity. Bruce has served King's Chapel UM Church
1986-1993, Mars UM Church 1993-2005, and appointed to
St. Paul's in July 2005.
Bruce and Laurie have been married for 28 years.
Laurie is also a native of Pittsburgh and currently
works at Premier Therapy, LLC in Beaver, PA as the
Manager of Administrative Services. Bruce and Laurie
have two children; Sarah a student at Penn State
University, and Michael a student at North Carolina
University at Wilmington..
Bruce is the Associate Pastor at St. Paul's. His
responsibilities include: pastoral care and working
with the Care Team, assisting with worship leadership
and preaching, assisting in the teaching ministry,
supporting the other areas of ministry as needed,
working with the Adult Ministry Council, Spiritual
Development Team, and the Social Justice Team.

Rev. Brenda Walker, North Shore Pastor
Bishop Bickerton appointed Brenda Walker to
St. Paul’s staff, but will have primary responsibility
for the Millvale, Sharpsburg, Aspinwall, and Blawnox
United Methodist Churches. St. Paul’s will be
providing non-financial support to these sister
congregations in our neighborhood. Brenda
recently graduated from Pittsburgh Theological
Seminary and was commissioned as a Probationary Member
of the Annual Conference last Sunday. Brenda has been
married for 17 years to Jim, who is one of the Pastors
at the Hot Metal Bridge Church on the Southside of the
city. They are the parents of two children and will
reside in Squirrel Hill.
